A catastrophic cyclone hit Vanuatu on Saturday, March 14, 2015.
Vanuatu is located in the South Pacific and has a population of over 260,000 inhabitants.
Contact with our brethren has been limited due to damages caused to the communications infrastructure, but we have been informed that though some of our brethren lost their houses, God has spared their lives, praised be to the Lord!

Dear Brethren around the world,
Warm Christian greetings with Luke 15:8-10: “What woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.”
Dear Brethren of the General Conference units around the world,
“Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth” (Psalm 96:8, 9).
Dear Brethren and Sisters around the world,
Warm Christian greetings with Acts 1:8: “Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
Before His ascension Christ gave this wonderful promise to His disciples. After receiving this promise, we are told that the disciples “continued with one accord in prayer and supplication” (Acts 1:14).
